TV program in the Albanian local TV channels

Abstract

TV programming in the local television in Albania reflect the uncertain development status these local televisions are going through. They are in the eve of analogue switch off and start broadcasting in the digital format. How will they cope with this new way of broadcasting? Will that have an impact on their programming schedule? How is their programming compared to the programming of the national and regional media? The paper will try to address all these issues through a comparing analysis and statistical data on some of the selected local TV.
